Patch testing

Patch testing offers a simple method to anticipate potential adverse reactions to a new product. It's advisable to conduct a patch test before integrating any new product into your skincare regimen. We provide a comprehensive guide for conducting your own patch test tailored to different product types.



Prior to use, it is recommended to conduct a patch test: Apply products as instructed to a small area once daily for two to three days to assess sensitivity. If severe irritation, blistering, swelling of eyes and mouth, or difficulty breathing occurs, discontinue use immediately, rinse off, and seek medical advice promptly.


LEAVE ON AND RINSE OFF PRODUCTS:

1)      Apply a small amount of the product onto a clean area of skin on the upper forearm.

2)      Keep the Area dry.

3)      Rinse off the product after 24 Hours.

4)      If you notice any redness, burning, itching, blistering, or irritation during the test, refrain from using the product

Peeling Solution:

1)      Apply a small amount of the product onto a clean area of skin on the upper forearm.

2)      Allow the product to remain on the skin for the duration specified in the product's usage directions.

3)      Rinse off when the specified time has passed.

4)      If you notice any redness, burning, itching, blistering, or irritation during the test, refrain from using the product

Please be aware that the patch test is solely intended to identify initial reactions to products and may not reflect the same outcomes when applied to different body areas (including the face) or with prolonged use. It does not address underlying conditions and should not substitute for diagnosing hypersensitivity or allergic contact dermatitis.
